This policy explains how Yusr Holding Limited (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit yusr.group, write to us, apply for a job or subscribe to our newsletter. It does not cover our consumer products, such as Jet Finance or Yusr Pay: each of them has its own privacy notice on its own website or app.
1. Who we are
Yusr Holding Limited is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. It is registered under No. 32957, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Where your request concerns another Yusr Group company, for example Jet Finance in Kazakhstan, we pass it to that company, which then handles your data as a separate controller.
2. What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, company, the type of enquiry and your message.
- When you apply for a job: your name, email address, the link to your LinkedIn profile or CV and what you tell us about yourself. If you send a CV, we also process what it contains.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address and your consent.
- Technical data: the IP address from which a form was sent, stored with the submission to prevent spam and abuse, and the standard server logs of every website.
- Analytics: how you use the site, collected by Google Analytics with cookies. Our cookie policy describes this in detail.
Please do not send us sensitive information, such as health data or identity documents, through the site forms. Reports of misconduct have their own confidential and anonymous channels, described on the whistleblowing page.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- To consider your job application and contact you about it — steps taken at your request before an employment contract.
- To send you our newsletter with results, bond issues and company news — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and attacks — our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it — our legitimate interest or, where the law requires it, your consent.
- To comply with the law and with lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
- Yusr Group companies that need the information to answer your enquiry or consider your application.
- Service providers that run the site and our internal tools for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data: our hosting provider, Microsoft (the staff tools where we receive and discuss your messages) and Google (analytics).
- Authorities, courts and advisers, when the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is reorganised, sold or merged.
5. International transfers
Yusr Group operates in the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the European Union and the United States. When we transfer personal data to a country that does not offer an adequate level of protection, we use safeguards recognised by the applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless we need them longer for a legal claim or a business relationship.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the position is filled, so that we can contact you about similar roles. Tell us if you want us to delete your application sooner.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email.
- Analytics: as set out in the cookie policy.
After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.
7. Your rights
Under the data protection laws that apply to us, including the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
- have your data deleted, or its use restricted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before;
- complain to a data protection authority. Our lead authority is the ADGM Office of Data Protection; you can also contact the authority where you live or work.
To use any of these rights, contact us through the contact form (select “Privacy request”). We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
8. Security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures that fit the risk: encrypted connections, access limited to the staff who need it, single sign-on for staff tools and regular backups. No system is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
9. Children
yusr.group is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way we use personal data changes. The new version applies from the date it is published on this page, shown at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site.
11. Contact us
For questions about this policy or about your personal data, contact us through the contact form (select “Privacy request”).
